NY Giants Re-Sign Backup QB David Carr
Published at(NEW YORK) — The New York Giants re-signed backup quarterback David Carr on Thursday to a one-year deal worth $925,000.
Carr is in his second tour with the G-Men, having previously played for Big Blue from 2008-2009. He spent a year in San Francisco before re-upping with New York last year.
“I feel really comfortable here,” Carr said. “I know that if given the opportunity and put in the position to play on this team, I would do well.”
Carr was originally drafted by the Houston Texans with the number-one overall pick in the 2002 NFL draft.
