Pro-Choice Protesters Picket Ultrasound Legislation
Published at(BOISE) – More than 250 protesters gathered on the steps of the Capitol in Boise to voice their disapproval of a bill requiring women to get an ultrasound of their fetus before undergoing an abortion. Opponents say it amounts to bullying when women are already faced with a difficult choice. Similar bills have already passed in other states. Proponents say the ultrasound may cause women to reconsider terminating their pregnancies.
