E! Online reports Kutcher has been offered approximately $1 million per episode for next season.  That would be a nice raise from the $700,000 per episode he reportedly made for his debut season.

A source says, “The talks are going well and we’re getting close to finalizing.”

But The Hollywood Reporter tells a different story.  The trade publication says Kutcher and co-star Jon Cryer have both been offered two-year deals that do not provide a raise.

Earlier this month, CBS said it was in “preliminary discussions regarding future seasons” of its hit sitcom.

This season is Kutcher’s first as the replacement for the fired Charlie Sheen.  He plays Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt.
