(CHICAGO) — One of the biggest off-the-court headlines this NBA season has been if and where Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard will be traded before the NBA’s trade deadline. One of the team’s Howard has been linked to is the Chicago Bulls. Bulls point guard and reigning NBA MVP Derrick Rose though, has had enough of the constant speculation over where Howard will land.
“It’s definitely getting old where I’m sick and tired of hearing it,” Rose said before his bulls lost to Howard’s Magic on Thursday night. “Like I’ve said, this city speaks for itself. Chicago, marketing wise, is a great city. If someone chooses to come here, they definitely could, but I’m cool with the teammates that I have.”
If the Bulls were to acquire Howard it would be an example of the rich getting richer. The Bulls have the best record in the Eastern Conference, and give up 88.5 points per game, the second best in the NBA. Howard has won the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year Award the past three seasons.
