Six British Troops Presumed Killed in Afghan IED Attack
Published at(KABUL, Afghanistan) — Six service members of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) are presumed dead following an attack on their vehicle Tuesday in southern Afghanistan.
The soldiers were hit by an improvised explosive device, the ISAF reported Wednesday.
Although the military coalition has not identified the troops, the U.K.’s Ministry of Defence says six British soldiers are missing and believed killed.
It is unclear why the deaths have not been confirmed.
