The international sensation, Tim Tebow, will be suiting up for the Jets this season, after the Broncos and Jets completed a trade late Wednesday, which sent Tebow to New York.

“Very excited about my opportunity.  It is very clear, they want me to come in and compete and get better and get better as a quarterback,” said Tebow.

Tebow will now backup Mark Sanchez who spoke with Tebow shortly after the deal became official.

“We are both extreme competitors and I think we’ll be able to push each other to get a lot better and ultimately my goal is to push him to get better and to push myself to get better every day.”

But will his new head coach Rex Ryan’s language in the locker room bother him?

“I have so much respect for Coach Ryan as a coach,” said Tebow.  “He’s a coach you want to play for; I’m excited about playing for him.”
