“I felt like I actually hit it better yesterday than I did today,” Woods said. “I made more putts today for sure. I felt great over the putter…My speed was good. I left a couple of putts dead short right in the center of the hole. It could have been a really low round today. Lot of positives today.”

This is the first time since the 2009 Tour Championship that Woods has had a lead heading into Saturday.

Woods is still trying to win his first official PGA Tour event since the 2009 BMW Championship and Bay Hill may be the perfect place for it to happen.

Woods has won this tournament a record six times, winning it last in 2009 by defeating Sean O’Hair by one stroke.

Woods and Wi will tee off at 1:50pm ET on Saturday.
