(NEW YORK) — The NBC comedy 30 Rock will go live for the second time in series history on Thursday night.
In the episode, airing at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time, Alec Baldwin’s network executive character Jack Donaghy tries to shut down the live production of the variety show TGS.
The episode will emanate from the same studio where Saturday Night Live airs.
30 Rock star Tina Fey says the episode will involve so many costume changes for the cast that “we’re going to trust the SNL dressers to literally carry people to where they’re supposed to be and put their clothes on them.”
