Alfredsson Returns For The Senators

Richard Wolowicz/Getty Images(OTTAWA, Ontario) -- The Ottawa Senators, who own a 3-2 first round NHL playoff series lead over the New York Rangers, have received a boost ahead of Monday's game six after captain Daniel Alfredsson confirmed he would be playing after missing the past three games with a concussion.

Alfredsson, who had 27 goals and 32 assists during the regular season, was concussed in game two against the Rangers after being hit by New York's Carl Hagelin, who was suspended for three games for his actions.  Hagelin will also return to the ice tonight.
