Bobbi Kristina, Bobby Brown Mending Their Relationship?

Sandra Rose/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Whitney Houston’s February death brought new attention to the relationship between her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown and Brown’s father Bobby Brown. Media reports speculated that the father and daughter were on shaky ground, with Bobbi Kristina reportedly wanting to change her name to cut ties with her dad.
If those rumors were true, then it seems Bobbi Kristina and her dad, Bobby, are at least talking these days. Us Weekly reports that a witness says the pair were together earlier this week, eating lunch at New York City’s Blue Fin. Also along for the meal were Bobby’s longtime girlfriend, Alicia Etheridge, and three other people, according to the magazine.
A source tells Us Weekly that Bobbi Kristina “was on her phone and texting a crazy amount. She didn’t seem too thrilled to be there, in all honesty.”
Bobbi Kristina has been under the microscope since her mother’s death. Media reports stated that family members were concerned after the teen was romantically linked to Nick Gordon, who was informally adopted by Whitney when he was a youngster.
Bobby has also racked up his share of headlines. He was arrested in March after police in Los Angeles charged him with driving under the influence. Prosecutors dropped the charge after Brown pleaded no contest to one count of driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher, according to TMZ.
Bobby won’t have to serve any addition jail time, but he must complete a 90-day alcohol program, according to TMZ.
