Carl Crawford Will Visit Dr. Andrews
Published at(NEW YORK) — When you go see Dr. James Andrews, it’s almost never a good sign, and that is exactly what Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford is going to do.
The 30-year-old Red Sox outfielder, will head to Andrew’s office in Birmingham, Alabama to have his left elbow examined.
Crawford had surgery in January on his left wrist. Two weeks ago, while rehabbing his wrist, Crawford complained of soreness in his left elbow. He was sent for an MRI, which determined the injury was a strain.
After not being cleared to resume throwing a week later, the Sox decided to send him to Dr. Andrews.
Crawford signed a seven-year $142 million dollar contract with Boston last year.
