Nearly every expert has it down between quarterback Andrew Luck and Robert Grifffin III. The Colts do in fact know who they will be taking, they’re just keeping it to themselves.

The team had previously said they were doing their homework on both players, and that it could go either way. Colts officials, specifically new general manager Ryan Grigson, knows which direction the team will head once the commissioner calls their name.

“We’ve known for a little while. We’ve done all our due dilligence,” Grigson told reporters. “Unless there’s an unforseen problem or something like that, we know what we’re doing.”

The team had all along been expected to select Luck, but Griffin’s combine and personal workouts had resulted in some buzz that the Colts may decided to draft the Heisman Trophy winner instead. Which ever quarterback falls to number two, the Washington Redskins have all but come out and said that they will select the “other” quarterback.

Which ever quarterback the Colts select, he will have the daunting task of replacing the recently departed and longtime Colt quarterback Peyton Manning.
