District Creating 21st Century Classrooms

(SUGAR CITY) – The Sugar-Salem School District has been awarded a $100,000 grant for digital upgrades under the “Students Come First” plan. State Superintendent Tom Luna tells Local News 8 that providing students and teachers with the latest technology is crucial to staying competitive in an expanding world economy. Sugar-Salem was one of 15 school districts in the state to receive the grant.
