Father and Son Arrested for Aggravated Battery

(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —  Idaho Falls Police arrested 49-year-old Jack Clayton Gilbert and 19-year-old Chance Christian Gilbert for aggravated battery Thursday night after they beat of a 35-year-old man at the Civic Auditorium.    Jack and Chance Gilbert, both of Rigby, were booked into the Bonneville County Jail.    According to reports, police responded to the Civic Auditorium around 7 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Witnesses stated that Chance and Jack Gilbert had started punching and kicking a 35-year-old man.   The victim suffered injuries to his face and head. He was transported by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.    Jack and Chance Gilbert left the auditorium prior to police arrival. They were later stopped in a white Chevy pick-up at the corner of First Street and Holmes Avenue.
