It was a wild game that included trash talk and a ton of fights.  Both teams had their top defenseman thrown out.

The Flyers blitzed the Penguins with four goals in the first, but Pittsburgh would answer back with two of their own.

But the Flyers would storm back with three goals in the final period to put the Penguins away.

“In the end, that’s really playoff hockey,” Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said. “A couple of the best players in the world dropping the gloves going at it. Would I rather have G keep his gloves on? Sure. But when he’s fighting Sidney Crosby, that’s playoff hockey. That’s this series.”

Maxime Talbot and Danny Briere scored two goals apiece in the win for the Flyers.
