Jakub Voracek’s first career playoff goal was a huge one.  His shot past Marc-Andre Fleury 2:23 into overtime was just what the doctor ordered in Philadelphia.

“It was a lucky bounce for me but I’ll take it,” Voracek said.

Ilya Bryzagalov finished with 25 saves after the rough first period and the Flyers will look to grab a 2-0 lead on Friday night.

“They came back, which is what they’ve done,” Pittsburgh coach Dan Byslma said. “They’re a good team. They don’t stop. The second half of the game, we didn’t get to our game and where we needed to play as much as we needed to and they got back in it.”

Danny Briere added two goals of his own for the Flyers and Brayden Schenn scored the other.

“We got away from our game, that’s really what it was,” said Penguins star Sidney Crosby who scored a goal in the loss.
