Four ISAF Service Members Dead in Helicopter Crash

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(KABUL, Afghanistan) — Four International Security Assistance Force service members were killed Thursday when the Blackhawk helicopter on which they were traveling crashed in southern Afghanistan.
The U.S. military confirmed the deaths Friday. The identities of those killed were not immediately released.
“The crash site is secured; the cause is under investigation,” the military said in a statement Thursday. “Additional information will be released as appropriate.”
