Heat Clinch Playoff Berth

Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images(PHILADELPHIA) -- LeBron James scored 41 points as the Miami Heat (38-14) defeated the Philadelphia 76ers (29-24) 99-93, clinching it a playoff berth.

The Heat were playing without all-star Dwayne Wade, who has a bruised left knee. Still, the Heat improved their record without Wade in the lineup to 9-1.

The win is Miami's 16th straight at home and 11th straight regular season victory versus the 76ers. The Heat now trail the Bulls by only 2 1/2 games.

Wednsday, the Heat head back to South Beach to take on the Western Conference leading Oklahoma City Thunder.
