Idaho Falls Man Gets Five Years For Kidnapping

(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls man will spend five years in prison for the assault of a 23-year-old woman last November. 22-year-old Tony Licano allegedly took Jennifer Burgess into the mountains against her will for nearly an hour. Investigators say Licano threatened to kill the woman if she didn’t pay him the money he claimed she owed him. Kidnapping charges were originally filed, but they were later amended to aggravated assault. Prosecutors say the victim was pleased with the amended charges and the court’s sentence.
