(POCATELLO) – Idaho Power presented a check worth over $8,000 to the Greater Pocatello Senior Center Thursday. KPVI reports that the center recently spent $17,000 to complete lighting upgrades, which will save the facility $5,200 a year on their electic bill. The donation was all part of an incentive program to make upgrades and improve energy efficiency statewide. Officials say the project will pay for itself in less than two years.
