(POCATELLO) – Students attending Idaho’s public universities can expect to pay a little more in tuition next year. The state Board of Education approved a 4.7 percent increase for Idaho State, and a 6.1 percent increase for the University of Idaho. Boise State requested a 5.7 percent increase, and remains the least expensive. ISU and U of I students will be shelling out more than $6,000 in 2013. State officials say that’s still significantly cheaper than public universities in other states.
