Stabbing Morgan

(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  — One of seven defendants allegedly involved in the Christmas Day murder of Buck Garner has been denied a request for leniency.   Nineteen-year-old Ryan Morgan was sentenced to five years in prison last month for his role in the stabbing, but Judge Dane Watkins Jr. wasn’t persuaded by Morgan’s claim that he didn’t play a major role in the incident.  Morgan asked for probation instead, but Watkins said it all came down to Morgan’s past criminal history for the decision to keep him behind bars.  Morgan is accused of assaulting Andrew Hall while Garner was stabbed to death.
