Judges Offer Free Mediation

(POCATELLO) – Idaho judges are offering free services this week to parties looking to resolve lawsuits without ever going to trial. the “Resolution Roundup” will allow judges to work with all the parties involved to reach a resolution that both groups can live with. Officials say it’s an effective way to minimize fees and open up time for other pending cases. Idaho is experimenting with the roundup. The 9th District Court of Appeals says that if the program is successful, it may be implemented elsewhere.
