(ARLINGTON, Texas) — Ian Kinsler and the Texas Rangers have agreed to a five-year $75 million deal, according to the Fort Worth-Star Telegram.
The deal is pending a physical and would begin next season.
Kinsler, 29, is in his seventh season with the Rangers. The second baseman is a career .276 hitter and has hit 126 homers while knocking in 399 RBI’s.
Last season, Kinsler hit .255 with 32 homers and 72 RBI’s while playing in 155 games.
