(LOS ANGELES) — Kobe Bryant made sure he wouldn’t have another game like he did against New Orleans on Saturday.
Bryant nailed his first shot 11 seconds in on Sunday, compared to the night before when he missed his first 15 shots, scored 40 points, and went on to lead the Lakers (33-20) past the Warriors (20-31), 120-112.
“It’s always interesting to me to hear people talk after a game like that,” Bryant said, referring to the critics from his Saturday performance. “The amount of idiots that live out here after 16 years baffle me. I guess people just get dumber over the years.”
Pau Gasol chipped in with 26 of his own in the win.
“Once we started the game and he knocked down his first three or four shots, I knew it was going to be another aggressive night for him,” Gasol said of Bryant.
