Neighbors Sue Payette County to Block Nuke Plant

(BOISE) – The neighbors of a property in western Idaho slated to become the future site of a nuclear power plant are suing the local government to keep the project from moving forward. Protesters want Payette County to drop their 20-year development agreement with Alternate Energy Holdings, Inc. The lawsuit claims that the small company engaged in a fraudulent stock scheme to gain control of the property. Company officials deny any wrongdoing
