(POCATELLO) – Now that the 2012 Idaho legislative session is over, several new laws are just weeks away from going into full force. One law, which will go into effect next summer includes requiring all massage therapists to be certified. The state must first establish a Board of Massage Therapy, and therapist will be required to undergo a minimum 500 hours of training. Massage therapy has become one of the most accepted branches of conventional medicine, helping people recover from injuries and surgery to improve overall health.
