The UK Sun reports the queen has enlisted Daniel Craig to open the upcoming London Olympics by appearing in a short film as his character, James Bond.

According to the newspaper, in the film, the queen, who may actually appear onscreen as herself, gives 007 an order to parachute into the Olympic stadium in Stratford, East London to officially open the games on July 27.

The queen reportedly gave Craig and filmmaker Sam Mendes, who is directing the next Bond adventure Skyfall, “unprecedented” access to Buckingham Palace to shoot scenes for the film, many of which remain top secret.

The Sun reports crew members for the filmed segment, which is being called The Arrival, were sworn to secrecy, and all cellphones and cameras were banned from the set.

Fans will be seeing more of Bond leading up to Skyfall‘s Nov. 9 debut.  The secret agent will reportedly be seen sipping Heineken beer, not his usual vodka martinis, in spots for the brew tied into Skyfall‘s release, reports Advertising Age.
