(FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.) — Bobby Petrino is out as head football coach of Arkansas.
The 51-year-old Petrino was put on paid leave last week after he failed to disclosed to university officials that a 25-year-old female school employee was with him when he crashed his motorcycle.
Petrino, who is married with four children, later admitted to an inappropriate relationship with the female employee.
“Coach Petrino’s conduct regarding the account of the accident jeopardize the integrity of the football program,” Arkansas Director of Athletics Jeff Long said during a news conference Tuesday night.
In his four seasons at Arkansas, Petrino went 34-17, leading the Razorbacks to three bowl appearances, including their first BCS bowl berth.
