Rangers Down Twins, 6-2
Published at(MINNEAPOLIS) — Adrian Beltre delivered the big hit for the Texas Rangers (7-2) on Saturday afternoon in the seventh, when he drove in Brandon Snyder. The Rangers would go on to beat the Twins 6-2.
Rangers starter Yu Darvish who won his first ever game in the Majors his last start struggled through 5.2 innings and left with a no-decision. Instead, Robbie Ross (1-0) who relieved Darvish wound up with the win.
“The main adjustment I have to make right now is knowing the hitters, knowing the teams,” Darvish said through an interpreter. “If I can start to learn those hitters and record them in my mind, those are the adjustments that I have to go through. It’ll get much better as the season goes on.”
Josh Hamilton added three hits for the Rangers, one of them a homer in the top of the third.
