(NEW YORK) — Stocks lost ground Monday in reaction to the jobs report released on Good Friday when the markets were closed.
Investors had the long holiday weekend to brood over the disappointing jobs reports for March. The Dow lost 130 points Monday to close well under the 13,000 mark. The S&P fell nearly 15 points, while the Nasdaq slid 33.
Treasury notes were among the safest investments, but the yield on the benchmark 10-year note fell to 2.04 percent.
