Sheriff: Teens’ Burglary Arrest Serves as Warning

(REXBURG) – Two Madison County teens have been arrested after attempting to break into an Archer home this week. Sheriff Roy Klinger tells Local News 8 that 18-year-old Brandt Edelmayer and his 17-year-old accomplice are lucky to be alive since so many rural residents are gun-owners. Officers say both teens may have been looking for pain medication, but were stopped by the owner before taking anything. Both teens are facing felony charges, though neither has been linked to any previous crimes.
