The result, the Heat beat the Knicks 104-94, and Stoudemire ended up needing the paramedics to treat a cut on his left hand.

The incident leaves a good chance Stoudemire will miss Game 3.

“We’ll just have to see how severe it is when the doctors get done with it,” Knicks head coach Mike Woodson said. “They’ll tell me how severe it is.”

Dwyane Wade scored 25 points for the Heat, who now leads the series 2-0.

The loss is the Knicks’ 12th straight in the playoffs tying the Memphis Grizzlies for most consecutive losses in the playoffs. The Knicks last playoff win came on April 29, 2001.

Game 3 takes place in New York Thursday, at 7:00PM ET.
