"The Five-Year Engagement," "The Raven," and More Open Friday

-- The Five-Year Engagement: Jason Segel and Emily Blunt play a couple who faces a series of ups and downs during their extended engagement.  Alison Brie and Chris Pratt also star in the comedy, which was co-written by Segel.  Rated R.

-- The Pirates! Band of Misfits: In this animated feature, a pirate captain voiced by Hugh Grant embarks on adventures while pursuing the title of Pirate of the Year.  Salma Hayek, Jeremy Piven, Brendan Gleeson, Imelda Staunton and David Tennant also lend their voices to the flick, which is screening in 3D.  Rated PG.

-- Safe: Jason Statham plays a former mixed martial artist who protects a 12-year-old girl being pursued by the Russian mob and others, who seeks a coveted numerical code that only she knows.  Rated R.

-- The Raven: John Cusack is the legendary author Edgar Allan Poe, whose twisted stories inspire murders committed by a vicious killer.  Alice Eve and Brendan Gleeson also star.  Rated R.
