“The Hunger Games” Remains Box Office Champ with $33.5 Million
Published at(NEW YORK) — For the third consecutive weekend, The Hunger Games toyed with the competition.
The blockbuster film earned an estimated $33.5 million to remain in first place. It has now raised $302.8 million at the domestic box office to date.
The American Pie sequel American Reunion debuted in the runner-up spot, drawing $21.5 million. The 3D re-release of Titanic bowed in the third spot, with $17.4 million.
