(IDAHO FALLS) – Union members working for the U.S. Postal Service are rallying across the country this week in an effort to make their voice heard. KIDK reports that the National Association of Letter Carriers wants to raise awareness about the harm of ending Saturday deliveries and door-to-door service. Federal lawmakers from both parties contend that the Postal Service is not fiscally sustainable under current standards. Workers say pre-funding health care benefits to retirees is killing jobs.
