Bonneville Co. Cow Gives Birth to Triplets

(BONNEVILLE COUNTY) – A Bonneville County cow is getting some tender loving care after giving birth to three calves Sunday. Owner Bruce Hansen, who raises beef cattle, says the odds of a cow having healthy triplets are about one in 8 million. Even more rare – all three calves were females. Hansen says the mother is 15 years old – three to five years older than his other cows – and is doing a good job taking care of her new calves.
