Many of their fans blamed power forward Carlos Boozer. Despite how the fans in Chicago feel about him, he’s not going anywhere.

Bulls’ general manager Gar Forman was on The Mully and Hanley Show on 760 and felt the need to respond to heavy criticism aimed at Boozer by the fans.

“I think Carlos had a very productive year,” Forman said. “You look back, he’s the only guy on our team that played every game and practiced every day on a team that won more games than anybody in the NBA. He was our second leading scorer and second leading rebounder. We’re looking forward to Carlos continuing to make progress.”

In his second season with the Bulls, Boozer, 30, averaged 15.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. He is still owed around $45 million by the team over the next three years.
