(CHICAGO) — Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose will be sidelined between eight to 12 months after undergoing surgery to repair his left ACL, according to Dr. Brian Cole, who performed the surgery.
“The surgery went extremely well,” Cole said during a news conference Tuesday. “Really no surprises, it was pretty routine.”
Rose tore his ACL on April 28th during Game One of the Bulls’ first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers. Without Rose, the Sixers bounced the top-seeded Bulls in six games.
