BOS GARNETT KEVIN? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1337251315355Boston Celtics/NBA(PHILADELPHIA) — Kevin Garnett must have made a trip to the fountain of youth.

“Old-man” Garnett was as dominant as could be on Wednesday night during the Celtics 107-91 rout of the 76ers in game 3. Garnett scored 27 points and pulled in 13 rebounds in the victory.

But after the game, Garnett was focused on game 4.

“When you beat a team like this at home, you have to expect them coming out with a lot of energy,” Garnett said. “But we’ll be ready and we’ll have a lot of energy ourselves.”

Rajon Rondo recorded 23 points and 14 assists and Paul Pierce rounded out the Big 3 with 24 points.

“We just wanted to come out and establish who we are as a team,” Pierce said.

After the game, Sixers head coach Doug Collins said his team saw a different team than in game 2.

“We ran into a Celtics team that had a real sense of purpose about them,” coach Doug Collins said. “You could see in moment one, they were looking to push that ball in every situation.”

Boston now leads the series 2-1.
