Convicted Murderer is Sentenced in Idaho Falls
Published at | Updated at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — A convicted murderer has been sentenced to at least ten years in prison for his role in a fatal shooting last year. Twenty-four-year-old Geoffrey Salem Elawadly was also given a 30-year intermediate sentence and faces the possibility of life in prison if he violates any future probation. Last month, Elawadly admitted to killing 24-year-old A.J. Camp in March of last year. Elawadly was also charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and using a deadly weapon while committing a felony. The victim’s family says they’re thankful justice was served.
