Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus in the Mix to Judge “X Factor?”

Fox(LOS ANGELES) — Though it hasn’t been confirmed, it looks likely that Britney Spears will be joining the X Factor judging panel, but there’s still one spot up for grabs. Now, reports claim that it could be filled by Demi Lovato or Miley Cyrus.
The Hollywood Reporter said Lovato is in “final negotiations” to fill the vacant judges’ slot on the Fox singing competition, which currently features Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and — possibly — Spears. The trade publication said the show wanted to hire a brunette. Meanwhile, a source told Celebuzz.com that “there have been talks with Miley” about joining the show. Others on the shortlist reportedly include “Black Eyed Peas” front woman Fergie and Avril Lavigne.
As for Spears, a source told Celebuzz, “Britney’s deal is not done, it’s close, but we are not that far ahead to be making a formal announcement.” It’s rumored that Spears will cash a $15 million paycheck for her trouble.
