Elkfest a Success Amid Protests

(JACKSON, Wyo.) – The Boy Scouts of America held their annual elk antler auction in Jackson this weekend. Organizers say Elkfest was a success, and avoided what could have been a highly controversial event. An anti-abortion group known for using graphic images was protesting nearby, but opted to put the signs away out of respect for young kids in attendance. This year’s event raised over $90,000.
