Cox/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — There has been a growing discussion about the potential effects of concussions and physical issues plaguing former NFL players. Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White doesn’t see why there has been such a strong debate about the violence of the NFL.

“It’s crazy how football players are killing our game,” White said on his Twitter page. “You signed up to play a violent game and made a lot of money now you talk bad about.”

“No, I love playing football,” White said when asked if he’d consider another profession. “If I can’t walk when I’m 50 it was well worth it.”

White wanted to make it clear that he respects former players and those who came before him, but he doesn’t want to see the future of the NFL negatively affected in the future. The 30-year-old White is one of the premier wide receivers in the NFL; he caught 100 passes last season for 1,296 yards.
