Family Looks for Answers After Fire

(BLACKFOOT) – A Groveland family is looking for answers after their home burned to the ground Tuesday afternoon. Homeowner Cheryl Spiegel says firefighters struggled to get sufficient water to the scene, and had to truck in water from a gas station three miles away. Blackfoot Fire Lieutenant Branden Wall says there are places the department can improve in organizing future responses. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and while there were no injuries, Spiegel says her family was unable to rescue their cat.
