Housing: Builder Sentiment Improves, but Still Fairly Low
Published at | Updated at(WASHINGTON) — A new report from the National Association of Home Builders is the latest sign the worst of the housing slump may be over.
Builder confidence is at a five-year high; the best it’s been since May 2007, according to a report out Tuesday. Permit requests for new homes and apartments are also up.
The numbers, however, are still significantly lower than where they were during the 2004 housing boom
