Idaho Primary Today, GOP Divided

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — It’s election time, and while partisan politics rules the day during November’s elections, today’s primaries are just as hotly-contested. If you take a look at Idaho’s Republican Party, it’s not hard to see a growing diversity of opinions. Experts say the Gem State’s conservative movement is getting a lot more libertarian, all thanks to the Tea Party coming onto the scene. Today’s elections are largely made up of moderate incumbents taking on Tea Party challengers. Voters participating in the closed primary must register with the GOP before hitting the polls. Polls will closed at 8pm
