IF City Council Tweaks Bar Smoking Ban

(IDAHO FALLS) – The Idaho Falls City Council is considering changes to legislation that would ban smoking in all bars within the city limits. Officials tell KIDK that bar employees are coming forward to say that they don’t want to deal with second-hand smoke. The latest revisions would prohibit any bar to allow smoking, something smoke-free bar owners say would “level the playing field.” A vote on the new draft is expected Thursday.
