Investigation Reveals No Misconduct in Madison County Spending

(REXBURG) – A tri-county team of investigators has cleared Madison county officials of allegedly misusing public funds. KPVI reports that a Parks and Recreation employee accused her supervisor of buying an airline ticket for his wife on the county’s credit card. The allegations also claimed that commissioners were aware of the transaction, but did nothing about it. Investigators say commissioners did nothing wrong and that the county was fully reimbursed for the airline ticket with a personal check.
