Dwight King put the Kings up 2-1 in the third period and sent them one game away from their first trip to the Stanley Cup in 19 years.

“Everybody is answering the challenge and being better,” said King. “We’re playing good, playing consistent. With the way we’re going, we’re tough to beat right now.”

Anze Kopitar scored the other goal for the Kings in the second period, but is not looking past the Coyotes just yet.

“11-1 (record in the playoffs) doesn’t really mean anything.  We’re taking it a game at a time and that is what we want to focus on,” said Kopitar on being one game away from the finals.

Los Angeles will look to improve their playoff record to 12-1 and punch their ticket into the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals Sunday.
